Finger Exercises - a great warm up!

C Major intervals

Try to play the intervals as double stops. Notice that some seconds end up being minor and some major.

If you have the colored fingerboard or the hopscotch in the Interval Songs in C Workbook, simply count how many 1/2 steps are involved in the interval.

This will tell you if you are playing a minor or major interval. Develop your ear by playing the intervals as you listen with earphones over one ear, so you can hear both the exercise and your fingers clearly.
